THE BIG ATLAS MOVE IS HERE
You've heard us talk about it. You've asked us when it's happening. It's happening March 7, 2014.
In order to make the move 14 blocks east and to get our new digs ready we will be closed ALL DAY Friday, March 7, 2014. During this time we will only have phone access for emergencies. We WILL NOT have access to email.
Please make note of the following and plan accordingly:
Orders received by 11am, Thursday, March 6th will be processed as usual.
Orders received after 11am, Thursday, March 6th will be available on Monday, March 10th.
NO ORDERS will be processed on Friday, March 7th.

Important information regarding freight claims
We have been experiencing a dramatic increase in the number of freight claims denied by our carriers recently, specifically, they will no longer pay out any claims that were not noted on the original delivery receipt. As such, Atlas can no longer accept any freight claims that are not accompanied by a copy of the delivery receipt noting loss or damage and signed off on by the driver. We understand that, particularly for the small business, it is not always possible to do a thorough inspection as freight is received so we offer these tips as a quick check list BEFORE the driver leaves.
If any of these things look suspicious, a more thorough inspection is warranted. The driver is obliged to wait for this so do not feel rushed or pressured to sign off before you are completely ready to do so. Signing the delivery receipt legally releases the carrier from any further obligation, so be sure that you are signing for the coffee you wanted and that it is in the condition you expect.
