Jennifer Roberts, Operations Manager

Jennifer has been involved in the coffee business since the early nineties when she started and ran one of the first espresso carts in Montana. After deciding that serving espresso outside during a Montana winter was a rather chilly proposition (not to mention all the adjustments to the grind!) she got an indoor job at a coffee roaster/espresso bar and there learned the finer points of shot-pulling. Eventually Jennifer was trained to roast on a 12kg Diedrich, and thereafter spent the cold Montana winters honing the art of coffee roasting and managing the company's wholesale accounts.

After moving to the Seattle area, she furthered her roasting experience working as a lead roaster on a 12kg San Franciscan roaster, before coming to join the Atlas Team in 1999. Jennifer is in charge of daily operations and involved in position managment.
