Junior Trader

David Krebs has a background in international development and began his coffee career after living and working in Tanzania. He started with the team at Crop to Cup, where he specialized in roasting, cupping, and green coffee sales. Passionate about East African coffee, David has helped lead trips across Uganda and Ethiopia and has travelled extensively through Kenya, Rwanda, and Tanzania.

David joined Neumann Gruppe USA in 2021, first as an inbound logistics coordinator for InterAmerican Coffee and Atlas Coffee Importers and then in outbound logistics and customer service for Rothfos. In February 2026, David moved across the country to join Atlas as a Junior Trader, specializing in working with producers in Africa.

When not importing coffee, David can be found biking the streets of Seattle.
