Colombia was hit with a 7.4 magnitude earthquake on Monday. Our hearts go out to the incredible people we work with and all the communities impacted throughout the country.
The quake struck at the heart of Colombia's coffee axis, with the heaviest damage reported in Pereira, Cali, Manizales, and Armenia.
With roads and infrastructure being assessed for damage, we anticipate delays in getting coffee to the port and shipping it out on schedule. Many of our west coast shipments depart from Buenaventura, which is among the ports most affected. We are staying in close communication with our partners in Colombia and will provide updates to those with delayed shipments.
