We are pleased to share that Atlas has begun to receive portions of the tariff refunds processed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) through the CAPE refund program. As a result, effective July 1, 2026, Atlas will no longer include IEEPA tariff charges on new invoices, and our spot offerings will no longer reflect these tariffs.
Our team is now completing the reconciliation process to match refunds received from CBP with the corresponding coffee shipments and customer transactions. Because refunds have been received over time and continue to involve analysis and corrections, we are carefully reviewing each entry to ensure the process is accurate and equitable for all customers.
Barring any unforeseen delays, we expect to complete our reconciliation process shortly and will begin communicating with customers in the coming weeks regarding their refund and the next steps in the refund process.
To facilitate the timely processing of refunds, customers will be asked to confirm their preferred payment method and remittance information. Any additional information or documentation required to complete the process will be outlined in our communication at that time.
We appreciate your patience as we complete this validation process. While CBP has made significant progress, refunds have been received inconsistently and continue to require reconciliation and verification before they can be distributed accurately.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge that the past year—with a volatile coffee market, macroeconomic instability, and tariffs, just to name a few—has been exceptional even within the confines of our never-a-dull-moment industry.
Thank you for weathering these storms with flexibility, kindness, and tenacity, and for trusting us as your green coffee supply partner. In the end, coffee is all about people, and we’re thankful to be working with you.
